This is a difficult one for me, I could be serious and talk about losing my dad, having an eating disorder, being an anxious person, struggling to get a job.... but I won't because they're just things that have happened to me.
I'm probably a lot more fortunate than some people. I had a nice upbringing and have happy childhood memories. I didn't want for anything and I have travelled to so many beautiful places. I have a loving family, a wonderful husband, a cute kitty and the sun is shining outside.
So I will write about the thing I am struggling to overcome today which is how to draw a cute little girl to represent Caitlin for the children's book I'm working on. I can draw lots of things, but for some reason, I just can't draw people!
I have been working on it all morning, this is what I have done so far and they all look a bit evil! (which is not the look I am going for):

Oh well, I will keep persisting and hopefully crack it by the end of the day!

I think you have amazing talent, you'll get her the way you want her...just relax and be yourself!!
ReplyDeleteI can relate to a lot of the more serious issues for sure but I am happy you decided to make this fun. I think your drawings are fabulous, I always wish I could do this, keep going, I hope you will reach the point you want to.
