Day 3 - May Challenge

I can't think of just one thing that makes me uncomfortable so here is my Top 10:

1. Being put on the spot to talk about myself (I’m fine with it if I’m prepared).
2. Being centre of attention, I hate everyone looking at me.
3. Seeing parents swearing and threatening their children in public, for example once in a UK Supermarket a mother was getting really nasty with her child and saying stuff like ‘just wait till I get you home’.
4. Wearing anything tight around my neck (Chokers, Polo necks etc.) – it freaks me out and I can’t breathe.
5. People standing to close to me in a queue (I need my personal space).
6. Sharing too much personal information online (contradictory I know). I mean more like DOB, what I’m doing every second of the day, stuff someone else could use to steal my identity.
7. Being too hot! It was 98 degrees in Irvine, California yesterday. I had to sit in the shade (which is unheard of for me!).
8. Being too cold, where I can’t feel my face and my legs go numb.
9. Seeing people walking along with stupidly high heels on, I worry that they will topple over and snap their ankle.
10. Naked people on beaches! I’m not a prude but we went to a nudist beach by mistake once in Skiathos and everybody had everything hanging out (probably my fault).

That's about it!

What makes you uncomfortable?

  1. I love the headers you have for the challenge topics. Do you design them yourself?

#9 I will never understand high heel shoes, they just seem to be a disaster waiting to happen. I am not that coordinated so I have never tried them out, I cringe thinking about the results!

    1. Hi Jill, yes I do all the designs myself! I try it be as creative as much as possible...glad you like them. I have worn high heels but can't last very long and my version of heels is nothing like stilettos. I cringe when I watch next top model or something and they are made to wear 6 inch heels that are too big for them so they wobble around. I would break my ankle easily.

  3. Our list is quite similar today.

I wear high heels a lot, but I know how to walk in them. People at my old job would always comment that I'm going to break an ankle someday. Really, no... I got this. LOL

I'm always too hot or too cold. It's annoying.

  6. Especially Number 5. Then when you move to get away from them, they inch closer. Gives me the heebie jeebies.

  9. I had that same experience in Skiathos. We kept wondering along the beach to a quieter spot, then we realised why it was quieter!!

You have a lovely style, your designs are really eye catching.

Thanks for your comment on my post.

  12. Had to check out what you've been up to with this challenge as well. :)

I second the comment about the parents being mean to their kids. I mean, come on...YOU chose to create them.

And also the heels thing. If you can walk gracefully in 6-inch stilettos, more power to you. BUT don't expect me to be super sympathetic when you do break your ankle.

(And I also hate being too hot or too cold, but I live in North Dakota so I'll let you guess which one I don't usually have an issue with.)
