DAY 17 - May Challenge



I'm not that photogenic so this challenge was quite easy for me as there are very few photos of me that I like.

The one I have picked was taken in Mauritius last August about 5 days before my wedding. I'm on Le Morne beach in between my hotel (Lux Le Morne- where I got married) and my sisters hotel (Dinarobin) which was right next door. I was on my way to see my sister, her husband and Caitlin.



I like this picture of me because it is in an beautiful setting in the most amazing place in the world, Le Morne is like paradise! It conjures up happy memories of my wedding day. The whole outfit I'm wearing was bought for that trip. A little white beach dress, my new beach hat from accessorize and my new D & G sunglasses, I felt amazing!

I'm going to share the artwork I did yesterday with you all and would welcome any feedback. If you read yesterdays post, you'll know that I was struggling a bit with drawing a little girl character so here are my better attempts. (She has a butterfly on her nose in the first pic if you were wondering).




What do you think and which do you prefer? Honest opinions please....I can take criticism :)

    Beautiful pic, I love all the colors and your dress.

    The Caitlin in the middle is my favorite illustration. sShe looks happy, sweet, and like she's about to go on a fun adventure.

    What I wouldn't give to be on a beach right now!

    I agree with Jill - the middle Caitlin is my favorite. That's the one that jumped out at me right away - love her.

      Hi Phyllis, I'm really not photogenic! Honestly....it takes about 5 pictures to get a good one of me, I always have my eyes closed or something.

    look at your tan and the setting is so pretty - you look really good :)

    middle caitlin is the best, it is the colour and the doted dress!
