My apology today is to Minnie.
I am very sorry Minnie for dragging you away from your happy home in Nottingham, UK where you could play outside with your friends, beat Jack up from next door, climb fences and stalk the birds.

I am sorry for making you sit in a small box for hours and for making you fly on a big airplane on your own with lots of big doggies.
It is very hot in California at the moment and I know you would love to go outside but we can't risk it in case you get lost and run away or hurt. We love you too much to let that happen.
I hope you will forgive us one day and learn to love California.
