My advice today is simple (and a little depressing, sorry):
Make the most of your loved ones!
It sounds very simple but we all lead such busy lives that we don't always think about what could happen one day. Make sure you spend time with people you love, send flowers, say thank you, appreciate them and don't waste time arguing. Tell them you love them.
I say this because I lost my dad in 2010 very suddenly and unexpected. He was only 61...no age at all. I thought we had plenty of time left. He wasn't ill or unhealthy in anyway, there were no signs. I wish I'd made the most of him and that we'd spent more time together.
So true Rowena that we must enjoy our lives with others that we love. We can get so caught up in everyday things and its the people we see that really matter. Very sorry about your father.

DeleteSo sorry for your loss, you are absolutely right. we have to make the most out of our time spent with loved ones because you never know when they will leave us. Live each day like it's your last!
ReplyDeleteThat's what I try to do now, it's not easy because we are all so caught up in other things!
DeleteThis is beautiful advice. It's why I never leave family or say goodnight before saying "I love you." And your pretty little drawing is so sweet.

Simple but so true! I lost my dad in 2001 unexpectedly and we do take a lot things and people for granted without even realising, I'm going to give my mum a hug now when I get home lol :)
