YORKSHIRE SCULPTURE PARK

I went to Yorkshire Sculpture park yesterday (http://www.ysp.co.uk/), my legs are hurting today from walking! I've realised how unfit I am.... Saw some amazing work and sculptures from David Nash.

Also took nice photographs of the surrounding area putting other sculptures into context:

It was a pretty gloomy day...

I got covered in mud, my UGG boots are ruined, probably not the best footwear. Oh well, just glad I didn't fall over, things could have been a lot worse

I love these pots by Alex Finlay in the small greenhouse showing poetry made out of words:

I was very impressed with the cafe/restaurant onsite, proper chips, gorgeous carrot cake and a nice cup of tea. Well deserved after the long walk.

The shop has some fab gifts, including work from Rob Ryan (http://www.misterrob.co.uk/) I could have bought everything in there. His website is worth checking out.

Definately worth a visit, the sculpture park is free, the only charge is car parking of £4.

Home is where the heart is...

More ideas for the book. I have decided to create individual artwork instead, rather than computer manipulated illustrations as before. I plan on having prints made available as well of each one if they are successful.

I am very pleased with this based on 'Home is where the heart is'. I have used newspaper, acrylic paint and ink to create this. I think this is the style I will stick with for the other pages. Watch this space!
